I last visited Australia a year and nine months ago. It was a two week holiday away from the culture shock of China. Does a Foundation Traveller get Homesickness?

A friend asked if I get homesick. At first I thought that I didn’t, but I think it depends on what we view homesickness as.
The meaning of homesickness comes directly from the name, the feelings of sickness for things back home, those people, places and creature comforts we hold near and dear to our hearts. It is a form of travel depression that makes even the strongest of minds wonder if they’re doing the right thing.
